Parents / carers will need to apply for a Student Opal Card if the student:
- is just starting high school in Year 7
- is changing schools
- if the student’s personal details have changed (ie. address)

Lost or damaged cards
If your child has lost their Opal Card or it is no longer working you will need to apply to NSW Transport for a replacement card and a fee of $10 applies. This fee is payable to NSW Transport fee, it not a fee charged by the school.
Travelling without an Opal Card
Students are required to present their Opal Card when travelling on NSW Transport. Failure to provide the card when requested by Transport officers may result in students not being allowed to use those services.
