Motto, Vision and Mission

The motto of the school is “Act Justly”. Justice is a value we all seek, not only in society today, but in our own lives and our own hearts. Mission is the underlying or fundamental theme of the Gospel. We share in Christ’s mission to bring good news to the poor, sight to the blind, and freedom to captives. Through this sharing in the mission of Christ we are empowered to Act Justly. This liberates us to free the world from all that hinders, oppresses or destroys in the way of light joy, compassion and love.

Vision Statement

Guided by the teachings of Jesus, St Joseph’s Catholic High School provides opportunities for students to develop as respectful people who are prepared to act justly and contribute to a dynamic world through engagement in faith, learning and community.

Mission Statement

St Joseph’s Catholic High School is a faith based learning community, enriched by the Josephite charism where students and staff have high expectations and strive to reach their potential through respecting self, others, learning and the environment.

Josephite Values

Inspired by the life of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, we espouse the values of respect, courage, hospitality, compassion, justice, humility and service.
