Uniform Expectations

Here at St Joseph’s we believe that a school uniform:

• provides a sense of identity for students attending our school
• is a way for parents and staff to assist children to adopt a sense of pride in both their personal appearance and in St Joseph’s Catholic High School
• prevents students focusing on fashion trends here at school
• prevents unnecessary, and in some cases hurtful comparison and competition among students in regards to what they wear
• provides an economic means of clothing children over their years of schooling

It is a compulsory requirement of enrolment here at St Joseph’s that all students wear the correct school uniform at all times.

Parent cooperation and positive reinforcement by staff in regard to adhering to the school uniform procedure, are the preferred approaches used to ensure students wear the school uniform correctly. When accepting enrolment at St Joseph’s students and their parents/carers agree to support the School Uniform Policy.

Uniform Shop – Perm-A-Pleat

Perm-A-Pleat manages our school uniform requirements.Purchases can be made on the day of your visit and payment can be made by either eftpos, cash or credit card.

Parking Information:

Customer parking is available at the rear car park on Bong Bong Rd, with a ramp leading directly to the uniform shop. Limited street parking is also available nearby.

Normal Trading Hours

• Tuesday 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
• Wednesday 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm
• Thursday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Online Ordering

If you have previously been fitted and are aware of your sizing requirements, you can order your uniforms online. Orders that are placed online can be delivered to your home address for a flat fee or picked up from the Dapto Store.
